1. Chicken (whole chicken) / Chicken Broth/ Chicken Bullion

2. Basil

3. Sprouts

4. Jalapeño Peppers

5. Lime

6. Noodles (rice)

7. Cilantro

8. Anise (Cloves optional)

9. Ginger

10. Garlic

11. White Onions

12. Pepper & Salt


To make chicken broth:

  • 1 full chicken -cleaned (such that there is no trace of blood which can cloud the water, I prefer to use organic).
  • Add chicken to the stock pot- add water just so it covers the chicken
  • After the chicken is cooked (fall of the bone cooked), strain the stock to get rid of the foamy-ness in the stock
  • Save the Chicken breast pieces for later

1. Bring Chicken stock to boil

2. Add 4 garlic pods and 2 medium sized ginger (each piece of ginger as big as the garlic)

3. Add roasted Onion (about 1/4, thinly sliced and rosted)

4. Add cooked noodles

5. Add Salt, Pepper & Anise

6. Add Chopped Jalapeños Pepper (I prefer 1 full)

7. Bring to boil and turn it off

8. Add chopped Basil, Sprouts, Lime and Chicken
