Here is how to make the best pizza base at home, ‘nuf said..:)

Time to make: 1 hr
Ingredients:
  1. 4 cups All purpose flour 
  2. 2 1/4 tsp Dry Yeast (1 packet)
  3. 1 tbsp (Carbonated water)
  4. 2 tsp Salt
  5. 2 tsp Sugar/Honey
  6. Warm Water
  7. Olive oil
  8. 1 tbsp Milk

Directions:

Activate Yeast:

  1. Mix dry yeast in 3/4 cup of warm water (could add white wine too)
  2. Add honey and olive oil to the same, let it stay for 5 mins until the yeast is activated (you will see it bubble)
Dough:
  1. In a mixing bowl add the flour
  2. Add the carbonated water, salt and milk
  3. Add the yeast and water mixture and knead the dough until doesn’t stick to the bowl.
  4. Cover the dough ball with a wet towel and keep it aside for 30 mins or refrigerate over night until the dough raises (increases in size) 
Bake time:
  1. On the pizza plate rub the oil so the pizza doesn’t stick (or spray Pam)
  2. Stretch the dough on the plate by hand until it is flattened evenly
  3. Add your choice of toppings
  4. Bake at 450 C fr 15-20 mins until the cheese melts and the crust ends are crispy
My topping: I spread 1/2 the pizza with salsa, 1/2 the pizza with pesto sauce for base sauce, topped with mozzarella, mushroom, sweet stem broccoli, spinach, pepperoni, onion
